Vincent J. Borne grew up in Franklin, Louisiana and resides in New Iberia, Louisiana. He is a graduate of Hanson Memorial High School (Franklin, LA), Louisiana State University in 1994, and Loyola University School of Law in 1997.

Judge Borne started his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney with the Sixteenth Judicial District, beginning in 1997 and ending when he was elected Judge in 2013.

In 2013, Judge Borne was elected District Judge for the Sixteenth Judicial District Court, Division C, and took office on January 1, 2014. In addition to his regular duties in civil and criminal court, Judge Borne presides over Juvenile Court in St. Mary Parish .
